Land Stewardship
Garden Team Volunteer
As a garden team member, you will learn how to tend and maintain a community garden space, remove invasive species, and connect to like-minded neighbours. Urban Bounty depends on Garden Team Volunteers to create welcoming, inclusive spaces in our 18 community garden sites across Richmond and Burnaby.

Seed Program
Seed Supporter
As a Seed Supporters, you will be an ambassador of the Urban Bounty Seed Library. This entry-level role is perfect for anyone interested in learning about seed saving, community seed sharing, and local food resilience. You’ll support basic seed library activities and help foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for members.

Seed Librarian
As a Seed Librarian, you will serve as a primary operator of the Urban Bounty Seed Library. You will help manage scheduled library hours, maintain inventory systems, onboard new members, and ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping. This role supports the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Seed Library and helps create a welcoming, organized, and educational space for the community.

Fruit Recovery
Fruit Recovery
In the summer, Urban Bounty organizes teams of volunteers to pick from urban fruit trees to distribute to food banks (with plenty leftover to take home for ourselves)!
